If the company has any chance of not having an implementation plan until 25 days of the month, you should set out to find a suitable, GDPR company to replace them. When this happens, you should also ask the company to provide you with a copy of the data they hold and delete it on their original system, including backups.

Check your Privacy Policy Statement and be transparent to your users
