How to boot into Safe Mode on checkra1n jailbreak

Besides, the method works only on models compatible with checkra1n jailbreak. These are A7-A11 devices, namely iPhone 5s – iPhone X with iOS 12.3 and newer. If you have an iPhone XS or newer, the instructions will not work for you.

How to go to Safe Mode with checkra1n

1)Force reboot your jailbroken iPhone or iPad if needed.

2)Connect your device to your computer using a USB-A / Lightning cable (you cannot use a USB-C / Lightning cable).

3) Run the checkra1n program on your computer.

4) Click the “Options” button in the lower right corner:

6) Now press the button Start in the lower right corner:

7) Click on Next to confirm:

The device will enter recovery mode. After that, you need to enter it into DFU mode.

8) Read the instructions for DFU mode, then press the button. Start and follow the instructions on the screen:

If everything works out, the jailbreak will start preparing your device for launch:

If something goes wrong, just repeat the steps above again.

The device is now in Safe Mode and you can launch Cydia to safely remove problematic tweaks. After that, you can reboot the device and install the jailbreak as usual by unchecking the Safe Mode item.

In most cases, Cydia’s default safe mode is sufficient, but there are times when it doesn’t help.
