BlaBlaCar is an application that serves to deliver and move by mobile. The tool allows you to configure your daily routes – commuting to work, for example – or scheduled trips to share costs with others. That way, the service can be more accessible than other transportation apps, like Uber. Drivers and passengers must verify their phones, link social media profiles and submit documents – which promises to make users safer. Everyone gets a score from 0 to 5 stars.
In the following tutorial, learn how to register and use the BlaBlaCar app on your phone. The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8 with iOS 12, but the tips apply to other Apple phone models, as well as to the version of the Android app.

Step 1. Install the BlaBlaCar app on your phone. When you open it for the first time, you will need to register for free. To do this, tap “Sign Up” and connect to your Facebook account or use an email address;

Step 2. In the “Search Trips” tab, you must enter the starting point and destination address to find available rides for the route. In the search results it is possible to apply filters, in the lower right corner of the screen or create a notification to be notified of new trips;

Step 3. Touch the trip you want to go to see details. There you can check driver reviews, ride value and much more information. Slide the screen all the way to explore the vehicle and see other confirmed passengers. If you want to see details about the driver, tap on his name. Touching “Continue” can book a ride;

Step 4. Select the number of seats you want to reserve and click the blue arrow to continue. In the confirmation screen, if there is any doubt, you can send a message to the driver under “Talk to the driver” and see the payment method. Finally, to confirm the reservation, tap on “Books”;

Step 5. Return to the main BlaBlaCar screen, under the “Your Trips” tab you can monitor the status of your offered and reserved rides. Use the “History” tab to find old rides. Tap the chat bubble icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to access the notifications and messages exchanged by the app;

Step 6. If you want to share the cost of the trip with someone else, tap “Offer a ride”. Now enter the information of the route you are going to take, such as starting point, destination, date, time, number of seats available, amount charged and other details.
